President

Astrid Jenkins

Astrid is currently pursuing a DPhil in International Relations, focusing on the emergence of memory disputes between states and the variation of their impact on contemporary international relations. As President, she is in charge of managing the Executive and General committees of the Society, as well as handling event organization and external partnerships. Astrid grew up in Cyprus, and owes her interest in memory disputes and love of all things Hellenic to her formative years on the island. In her free time she enjoys traveling and reading, swapping academic works for murder mysteries, which are often just as grim as our current geopolitical reality.
